Austria Stopover

Austria....it is stunning. Never has a motorway drive been so interesting. 
Mountains, lakes, amazing views. And lots of very long road tunnels through mountains! 

We have stopped for the evening at a motorhome site in Rosegg, which has a restaurant next door, a labrynth down the road and it has stunning views of the Karawank mountains!
We will be driving through Slovenia and into Croatia tomorrow, where we will be putting down roots for a little while. 

P. S. We found one of these at the service station....

The French were putting the Christmas decorations up on the Eurotunnel drill bit this morning... We are on the train now and will be back in Great Britain in around 35 minutes! We have had the time of our lives and would highly recommend the experience to anybody considering it! Au revour France and the rest of Europe!!

Praia de Sao Torpes

We left Porta Nova this morning and visited the nearly Praia de Sao Torpes, a long sandy beach next to the oil refinery of Sines. But surprisingly beautiful! We managed to surf and stand up paddle board there. Later on we drove further south, stopping at Vila Nova de Milfontes briefly, before ending up at Camping Villa Park Zambujeira. We set up after dark and had pizza in the on site restaurant.

Torreblanca town

We left Tropicana on Friday and took the van to the garage in Torreblanca for the exhaust repair. It took a few hours longer than expected so we had plenty of time to explore the limited sights of Torreblanca Town! There were some interesting murals dotted around...
