Croatia Day 4

The campsite is Camping Savudrija and is in Istria, near Umag. It took us a while to get settled. 

We discovered on Monday that we had pitched too far over, so had to move the van, awning and storage tent across a few feet! That was a massive upheaval. 

Decent supermarkets seem few and far between, but we managed to find a Lidl on Monday evening by driving into Umag. 

We now seem to be settling into a routine of breakfast,  pilates/exercises, guitar practice for Craig, washing up and tidying up in the morning, then beach/sea in the afternoons, followed by tea early evening and a walk afterwards. 

The beaches are rocky/pebbly so beach shoes are a must. The sea has been choppy since we have been here so we haven't managed to do any stand up paddle boarding yet, but today looks to be a little calmer. 

We've decided to extend our stay here by a few days, as long as they are not booked up.
