Hiccup then onwards into France

During our second week in Jersey we had to change our plans as despite advice received prior to travelling, we were unable to obtain an Animal Health Certificate for Trevor the dog on Jersey. So we changed our ferry crossing to return to the UK instead of France.. So on Monday 13th June we sailed to Poole. We didn't go home home though. We stayed on a UK campsite for two nights, visited a launderette and obtained the Animal Health Certificate from our own vets.

We then caught the Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais on Wednesday 15th June. What an amazing feat of engineering that is! Smooth check in, 35 minutes journey time, straight on the road after!

We spent our first night in Europe in a car park at a place called Mont de Cats, which has a trappest monestary famous for its cheese and beer.
We are now driving through Belgium and planning our next stop!
