Jersey Part 2
The second week in Jersey started off with sunshine and some heavy showers! One evening it was so bad that the manager of a pub gave us a lift back to our campsite, with the dog in the boot!
We visited the Jersey Tunnels one day, which the Germans built as a hospital during their occupation in World War 2. It is now a museum, telling the story of life in Jersey during the Occupation. Very interesting. There are lots of reminders around the island of the occupation, such as bunkers and heavy artillery.
