Autokamp Punta Povile continued

We are still on the same campsite a week later, as it is fabulous!

It is a small, basic, friendly campsite, which provides everything we need. It has some amazing beaches and is perfect for the stand up paddle board. 

There are lovely walks to the nearby harbour one way and to the nearest  town the other way.

Just off the coast of Novi Vinodolski, is San Marino Island, with a church on it. Beautiful! 

There is a small beach bar on the campsite with cool pallet seats with chunky cushions to relax on and an eclectic mix of music.

There is a strange phenomenon going on at the nearest beach... It is icy cold like a slush puppy but round the corner, the sea is lovely and warm. We have discovered that this is because there are fresh water springs underneath the sea bed. You can see the fresh water mixing with the warm sea water - very strange indeed!  

We expect we will stay here until Monday before moving on, but that may change!
