last day in Camping Park Umag

Camping Park Umag is huge, with thousands of pitches. There is plenty going on, with several swimming pool complexes, shops, restaurants and bars. Even some live music!

On the day we arrived, we went for an early evening walk to explore the campsite and ended up staying out all evening! We found a bar called the Happy Drop and sat outside to watch a duet, a man playing guitar and a lady vocalist. They were brilliant!

The other campers are all either German, Slovenian, Italian or Austrian. We have not seen or met a single English person since leaving Folkestone. 

We've met a German couple with a yellow van, very similar to ours. We had coffee with them yesterday morning and drinks last night. 

There is still no news on the extension lead's arrival from the UK. We are leaving Umag tomorrow, with or without it!
