Vodice

As we left Orebic, we stopped in the nearby supermarket for some breakfast. Strangely, we bumped into the Polish family that were our neighbours in the lake campsite that we had left a week ago! And even stranger, they had seen us (our van) twice in Bosnia and also in Ston, Croatia during the week!!

We drove North beyond Split, stopping off for dried figs from a roadside stall on the way. They are everywhere.
We ended up at a small seaside town called Vodice and pitched up in a little campsite/compound called Autocamp Ivona.  The owners and other campers were so nice and friendly but the actual site was not our cup of tea.

We walked into town to explore.
We stopped at a ladie's house and bought a small bottle of homemade grappa.
