Return to Croatia

To reach our Croatian destination, we crossed the Peljasac Bridge, which only opened in July 2022.
The bridge is to provide a fixed link from one part of Croatia to the rest of the country while bypassing Bosnia and Herzegovina. The bridge spans the sea channel,  joining the northern mainland and the peninsula of Peljasac, thereby passing entirely through Croatian territory and avoiding any border crossings with Bosnia and Herzegovina at Neum.

We then drove along the Peljasac peninsula and onto the Dubrovnik coast. We arrived at a campsite called Camp Pod Moslinom, just outside a village called Orasac.

It was a lovely campsite, but the dog beach was unusable, as there was a huge sign prohibiting entry due to rockfalls!!

We visited the village on the evening and had a lovely meal, but left the next morning.
