Exit from Croatia and into the Schengen Zone

The next chapter of our adventure has begun.

We left Povile this morning and stopped in a layby just before the Slovenian border, to buy dried figs, grappa and honey from a roadside trader, and to change up the last of our Kunar into Euros.

We have driven through Slovenia and into Italy, currently heading for a campsite at Lake Garda for the night.

We left Cambrils on Monday and drove past Barcelona and onto the Costa Brava. We checked in to a campsite in Blanes called Camping Blanes, which has direct access onto the promenade and beach. On Tuesday we walked along the promenade and explored the town. It has a lot to offer, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, buildings and gardens.
