Monte Gordo

We left Alvor this morning, after six nights. We really liked it there but it was time to move on.

We stopped at a clifftop bar in Portimao for a coffee and then went shopping, before driving through Albufeira. We didn't stop as we have both been there before. 

We then visited Vilamoura,  famous for its golf courses. The Portugese Open was taking place. We saw a stork on a nest there!

Now we are spending the night in a free moterhome stopover in a lovely little town called Monte Gordo. It is the last coastal town before the border with Spain, which is the Guadiana river.
