Spain into Portugal

We left Burgos on Saturday and drove across Spain and into Portugal.

We stayed at a public rest area on Saturday night, in a little village called Lajeosa do Mondego, which had drinking water, toilets, BBQ and a seating area, and was free of charge!
We ventured into the village bar and had Super Bock beer and Tremocos, lupini beans, which are a popular Portugese bar snack.

Costa Brava - Blanes

We left Cambrils on Monday and drove past Barcelona and onto the Costa Brava. We checked in to a campsite in Blanes called Camping Blanes, which has direct access onto the promenade and beach. On Tuesday we walked along the promenade and explored the town. It has a lot to offer, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, buildings and gardens.
