El Puerto de Santa Maria

The town of Puerto de Santa Maria lies on the atlantic coast behind Cadiz, which sits on a narrow peninsula. So the beaches are sheltered and perfect for stand up paddle boarding.
1st November is All Saints Day, which is a Bank holiday in Spain. So the beaches and bars/restaurants in Puerto de Santa Maria were busy!

We spent three nights there, before driving to Cadiz on Thursday.

Costa Brava - Blanes

We left Cambrils on Monday and drove past Barcelona and onto the Costa Brava. We checked in to a campsite in Blanes called Camping Blanes, which has direct access onto the promenade and beach. On Tuesday we walked along the promenade and explored the town. It has a lot to offer, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, buildings and gardens.
