Tarifa

From Cadiz, we drove to Tarifa, which is the southernmost place in continental Europe and is where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic ocean. We walked around the old town to see the castle and remaining walls.
You can see Morocco clearly on the other side of the sea, around 14 kilometres away.
Tarifa has the most popular beaches in Europe for kite surfing and wind surfing.
We stayed overnight in a carpark behind the beach.
